Ecological assessment of chemicals for plant protection applied on a sod-podzolic soil

Microbiological and ecological studies of the effect of plant protection chemicals were done for crops in graingrass-deep ploughing rotation. They revealed a considerable shift in microflora composition: the number of ammonifying bacteria decreases, saprotrophic fungi and actynomices go up parallel to producers of phytotoxic substances. The proportion of cellulose decomposing bacteria decreases in the microbial coenoses of cellulose decomposers. Changes in microbial communities structure are accompained by increase of soil toxic properties, specifically in case of mineral fertilizers application. Toxic substances get accumulated within the rhyzosphere and in the output production. The soil may be purified from the remnants of formerly applied preparates, nevertheless, the final product remains ecologically polluted
