This report deals with factors which may influence milk protein concentration (MPC). The four major factors that can influence protein concentration of milk are breeding, nutrition, management and disease. The accent is on nutritional management and some other management factors. Once the role of these factors is cleared up, especially the full potential of feeding, the farmers could manipulate protein concentration in milk. The influence of the other above mentioned factors is under thorough research
