2 new methods have been elaborated for scheduling of irrigation systems - the method of 2 models and the method of 3 models - using the simulation model of the water management subsystem, the simulation model of the retrospective moisture budget and the optimization model of the complex irrigation system. These methods are assigned to the optimization of conception proposals of new but also earlier extended, modernized or in another way reconstructed irrigation systems including their water resources. The methods were verified in the solution of some systems with results which provided the investors more complex and reliable data for decisions concerning the schedule of the system conception than the methods used hitherto. Therefore it is necessary from the side of the investors to require the use of the above mentioned methods. This fact will substantially decrease risks in decisions concerning the investment and a higher economic efficiency of the scheduled irrigation system will be reached
