Survey on the economically potential highland agricultural commodities

Information and data of crop production history and their production system in northern region had collected from both private and government agencies in order to tackle properly postharvest problems. There are so many agricultural commodities being grown in the North including highland areas. However, only some of certain commodities are potentially economic. They can be justified by the popularity, crop value, planting area, and their trend is considered to be good as opium substitute crop. These crops are strawberry, persimmon, Chinese pear, peach, head lettuce, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and carnation.
