Perineries nuntia (brevicirris), a kind of Neried or seanymph, was found to occupy a large area of Ban Rongpoa seashore at Banglamung. They seemed to prefer burrowing themselves in an easily drained area of medium sized sand. They were omnivorous and enjoyed eating any kind of food especially those with fishy smell. There was no mating season for this kind of animal. However, during the reproductive period Perineries nuntia's body colour changed to milky colour in male and green in female while its parapodia were adapted for swimming which in turn made the body divide into two parts called atoke and epitoke.
