[Several-year investigation into the effect of agroecological conditions on the variability of qualitative properties of lucerne seed, of variety OS-66]
1994
Radjenovic, B. (Preduzece za proizvodnju semena i sadnog materijala, spoljni i unutrasnji promet "Seme", Beograd (Yugoslavia))
400 samples of lucerne seed, variety OS-66, were investigated in the 1986-1990 period. The total rainfall in the 3 summer months and its distribution by months and decades in the region of Banat (Yugoslavia) had the greatest effect on the energy of germination, the content of hard grains and lucerne seed germinability. The energy of germination and the content of hard grains are in interdependence. The higher the energy of germination, the smaller the percentage of hard grains. The greatest variability was at the content of hard grains and energy of germination, and the smallest was at the germination.
