Studied herbicides show low efficiency in reducing the number of weed units. Higher efficiency can be seen in reduction of weed mass per unit. The application of chlorsulfuron+piridale and alachlor+bromoxynil gave the greatest efficiency. Under Sorghum halepense control, herbicides like rimsulfuron and rimsulfuron-methyl significantly reduce the number of new units and mass of above and underground organs of grain sorghum. The reduction of mass is more significant than the reduction of numbers of new units or the length of rhizoma. The greatest efficiency in reducing of mass and number of new units as well as rhizoma of Sorghum halepense has been realised by double application of limsulfuron herbicide with the combination with rimsulfuron+atrazin "pyridale".
