The community Ostryo-Pinetum nigrae Colic 1965 in the refugia on the mountain Tara, Serbia (Yugoslavia), has been described. It is developed on limestone cliffs, and consisted of numerous calciphilous and xerothermic species and it syndynamically connects Austrian pine forests of the order Erico-Pinetalia Oberd. 49 emend.Ht. 1959 with mesothermic hop hornbeam ones - the alliance Orno-Ostryon Tom. 40 and the order Quercetalia pubescentis Br.-Bl.32.
