Quality of seed maize harvest

The main aim of this research was to determine the influence of grain moisture content on the parameters of quality of operation (husking of maize cobs, the loss and damage of grains) of two-phase seed maize harvesting system. The sample size for determination of the parameters value of seed maize harvesting by two-phase system has included 200 maize cobs. Previous results representing the base for the further researches, show that the loss of grains within the two-phase seed maize harvest was greater at lower (23) than at higher (30) moisture content of grains, while the grain damage was greater at higher moisture content (30).
