[Penetration of Cesium-137 and Strontium-90 into the yield of berry cultures in the conditions of radioactive pollution of territory]

It is found that the degree of accumulation of Cesium-137 and Strontium-90 in berries is determined by biological characteristics of the crop and depends on the soil peculiarities. As for the accumulation of Cesium-137, the difference between the studied cultures is 2-5 times. High acidity of soil solution and low humus content favour more intensive penetration of Cesium-137 and Strontium-90 into plants
