Use of mosses as bioindicators of aerial emissions in Europe is shown. The present project of bioindication of trace elements by elementar analysis of selected mosses and their diversity on plots of intensive research in the frame of International Co-operative Programme on Assessment and Monitoring of Air Pollution Effects on Forests (ICP Forests) is presented.
