[The tissue culture of mulberry]

The medium suitable for the introduction of callus and subculturing in mulberry was MS medium containing BA 0.2 mg/l and NAA 2-3 mg/l, and it is rational to use medium added IBA 0.5 mg/l instead of NAA as Auxin so as to introduce pollen-callus. It is better to maintain dark condition than light to introduce callus of mulberry. The callus introduced by anther culture was n=14, chromosome by investigation of microscope in 5-7 days introduced it. To differentiate the plantlet of mulberry from meristem, it is best to use medium added 6BA 0.5-1 mg/l and NAA 0.01-0.1 mg/l to MS
