Trace content of the following heavy metals has been determined: cadmium, lead, copper and zinc. Three selected farms were situated about 1.5 km away from the industrial district (magnesit plant, fodder production plant, sugar plant and others). An attempt has been made to compare the influence of an "industrial zone" on the accummulation of heavy metals in hen eggs with the influence of the so-called "clean" control zone
