The aim of field experiments with applied waste lime was testing of Zn distribution in soils as well as its concentration in strawberry plants and fruits. The implementation of industrial waste lime rich with Zn distincly rised amount of this element soluble in 0.1 M HCl of soil arable layer. But even using higher dose of such waste lime (2 Hh) content of Zn in soil did not exceed 65 mg kg (EEC standards) and did not influence its content in leaves and fruits
