Response of three winter triticale varieties to sprinkling irrigation and sowing density

Research was conducted in the years 1987-89. Sprinkling increased yield and 1000 grain weight for about 10 percent. The increase of grain yield under sprinkling was similar for all varieties. Average yield of Ugo and Bolero varieties was higher than of Malmo variety. Enhancing of sowing density increased the ear number per square meter, decreased number of grains in spike and did not differentiated the yield and 1000 grain weight
