[Usefulness of Chile saltpetre to fertilization of sugar beet]

It was showed that sugar beet top dressed with Chile saltpetre caused the higher yield of root to the top dressing with ammonia saltpetre especially on light soil. The sucrose content in roots was independent of the form of used fertilization
