Goats are studied for their importance, remains of goat bones, and the breeds available in Egypt: Baladi, Nubian, Barki and Black bedouin. Each of these breeds was studied separately by: presence, profile, milk yield and dressing percentage. The last chapter explains the constraints of goat production in Egypt, present and future efforts for goat improvement, research and field works on goat development which have been conducted in collaboration between national institutions and international and Arab organizations, including ACSAD.
