Final report of the twentieth international upland rice observational nursery (10TH IURON, 1994)

A total of 79 IURON entries were evaluated at 35 test locations in 13 countries. Overall best-performing entries are: B6144F-MR-6, IR60080-49, B3632F-TB-1, IR63380-09, B6136E-3-TB-0-1-5, B6149F-MR-7, CNA6187-3, IR63372-05, BG301, CT7723-2-M-2-3-M. Results and key observations on days to 50% flowering, plant height, drought tolerance and recovery, and reactions to biotic stresses are discussed. Best-performing entries by country and by region are given. IURON entries utilized in the rice breeding programs of cooperating countries are also cited
