[Small-scale systems of leaf harvesting in family size mulberry plantations]

This paper presents various exploitation systems of highly intensive mulberry plantations, with densities of 10000-20000 plants/ha recommended for family size farms. An increase in production up to 57 percent can be obtained, with a high protein content by the alternate harvesting of the mulberry rows. This way the leaf requirement for two rearing series can be obtained.
