Regeneration of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) plants via somatic embryogenesis in vitro
1995
Zezul', T.G. | Gorbatenko, Eh.V. | Raldugina, G.N.
Selection of sulflower (Helianthus annuus L.) plants, in which hypocotyl explants formed the maximum number of buds in callus culture, was used for improving the regeneration capacity of genetically different samples. The frequency of regeneration in certain families was 100 percent. Regenerated plants of R0 and R1 were obtained, and their morphological characteristics were studied. The frequency of formation of fertile R0 regenerates was 2.0 - 4.1 percent of the total number of buds in callus culture
