In farms of L'vov Region (Ukraine) content in copper, manganese, zinc and cobalt in blood and bones of sows with different time of gestation was determined in experiments. After adding to the main diet of sows, one month before insemination, of zinc, copper and cobalt sulphates at the doses 0.03; 0.03 and 0.05 g per 1 kg of body weight, respectively, researchers have noted increase in fertility, and milk performance of sows and larger sizes of born piglets
