The observed slow-acting nitrogenous fertilizers influence pH change only slightly. The chemical composition of clay eutric fluvisol has a more powerful influence. The ascertained pH values in observed variants of the trials create the binding of cadmium, chromium, cobalt, lead and mercury in low soluble or insoluble compounds, favourable for the transport of molybdenum, zinc and arsenic into the food chain.
