Intraspecific hybridisation to improve lint percentage in cotton

Commercial varieties of cotton with a high lint content are considered valuable. The paper describes three seasons of field trials where genotypes (Mars 54 and MTB (84)11) obtained acceptable yields. GOT and fibre tests were carried out in Malawi.
