Attitudes of Yuwakasetakorn toward home economics extension in Changwat Kanchanaburi [Thailand]

There were more female than male Yuwakasetakorn in Kanchanaburi, with an average age of 18.8 years and had finished primary school. The average family size was 5.5 persons; their main occupation was agriculture. On the average, Yuwakasetakorn had been a club member for 3.5 years and attended club meetings 5.8 times per year. Although agricultural handicrafts production had limiting factors, attitudes toward nutritional food production, food processing and preservation, and home management and sewing were excellent. Their attitudes were based on socio-economic factors. Yuwakasetakorn desire more information concerning animal husbandry for nutritional food production.
