Young ear corn variety trial was conducted using Suwan 1, Suwan 2, Thai Supersweet Composite no.1 DMR, Rangsit 1, C.P. 1, Three way cross hybrid Suwan 2602, Baby corn Composite no.1 DMR-F2 and Double cross hybrid 191-200x166-182. Baby corn Composite no.1 DMR and double cross hybrid 191-200x166-182 gave earliest harvesting date at 41 days after seedling emergence. Baby corn Composite no.1 DMR had the shortest period of harvest at 8 days, given highest fresh yield with 245.5 kg/rai and had lowest ratio between ear-unhusked and ear-husked of 4:1. Double cross hybrid 191-200x166-182 had lowest plant height and ear height 149.3 and 97.0 cm respectively. Double cross hybrid had the highest quantity of young ear per plant of 2.8.
