Anucha Fitprayoon
Using of different kinds of bagging materials on fruit quality to 'Beauty Seedless' and 'Loose Perlette" showed that the damaging of fruit clusters by birds, bat and insects decreased. The covering with different kinds of bagging gave higher results in good berries and fruit clusters than the untreated. The covering with newspaper bag, white plastic bag, red cellophane bag and far-red cellophone bag significantly gave good berries of 96.9, 96.5, 95.0 and 94.3 percent in Beauty Seedless variety, respectively when compared to the untreated. In Loose Perlette variety, far-red cellophane bag tended to increase good berries than the untreated. The covering of different kinds of bagging material tended to increase TSS than untreated but were not affected to TA, TSS/TA in both varieties. All kinds of bagging materials gave higher chlorophyll content in Loose Perlette variety but did not affect anthocyanin content to Beauty Seedless variety when compared to the untreated.
