Effect of salinity level of Kamphaeng Saen soil on yield and yield component of first ratoon pindar sugarcane variety

Salinity level more than in term of EC at 4 dS/m reduced sugarcane yield significantly, but above 8 dS/m increased percentage of leaf burned area. AT 12 and 20 dS/m EC the cane yield and glucose content decreased about 50 percent and between 16-20 dS/m caused a decrease in the quantity of NPK uptake about 50 percent. At 4 dS/m, the quantity of sodium in cane in saline soil increased twice as much in non saline soils. However, all treatments of salinity level were effected towards neither numbers of internode per cane nor the quantity of fructose of the sugarcane used in the experiment
