The influence of two dialysis isotonic media, such as alcoholfree dialysate and alcoholfree beer, were tested. Secondary dynamic film creation in membrane processes has important influence on separation effects and it is logical to expect that two layers, instead of one, will greatly influence separation efficiency and selectivity, under isotonic conditions, what will not occur under hypotonic conditions. It is logical to expect that selectivity increase will be accompanied by efficiency reduction. By testing of mass transfer kinetics, it was found out that, under such conditions, alcohol separation degree did not change, in relation to hypotonic conditions, but considerably greater process selectivity was obtained. It was stated that 0.4 bar of transmembrane pressure (TMP) introduction did not bring important changes in alcohol and extract fluxes.
