The study was carried with the Rhine Riesling clone 198. The basic form of the trunk is double-pronged kordunica, 90 cm high. With the same mode of trimming, different lengths were left: 6, 8 and 10 buds, that is 32, 40 and 48 fertile buds in total grapevine. The greatest number of bunches of grapes per grapevine was in variant 1/10 and the highest average weight in variant 1/8, the average number of bunches of grapes per fertile buds was the greatest in variant of 8 buds on the arcs 1.60, the highest weight of the bunch of grapes was 138 g, the average yield in grapes 4.150 kg per grapevine, the average content of sugar 173 g and the highest content of the total acids 8.0 g/l. The yield in grapes was increased with the grapevine load by the fertile buds, but the content of sugar was somewhat below the level for the sort studied.
