Biological compatibility of insecticides and fungicides in tank mix used in potato protection

Reduction of Colorado beetle damage on potato is very unsuccessful in spite of intensive control, sometimes 6-7 times in season. Inefficacy is very often the consequence of fungicide and insecticide incompatibility applied in tank mix. Surfactant Tensiofix IF 33 was used together with Bancol WP 50 and Kuprizor, Kaptazor or Ridomil Z 72 WP in tank mix in field experiments. The evaluation of efficacy revealed the reduction of persistent action when used with Kaptazor 50 WP. Addition of Tensiofix IF 33 did not improve biological compatibility. Efficacy was good in tank mix with Ridomil Z 72 WP. Novodor (Bacillus thuringiensis var. tenebrionis) was very efficient in combination with Ridomil Z 72 WP (metalaxyl+cineb combination).
