Phosphorus and heavy metals in some species of fungi

51 species of mycorrhizae fungi have been analysed: the average phosphorus content was 0.605 % P/dry matter (s = 0.159). The average level for 42 species of saprotroph fungi was 1.366 % P/d.m. (s = 0.422). The difference between the two average values was very significant (p 0.001).
