Resorption of macronutrients and cadmium in dependence on application of sodium humate

In three-year pot trial the effect of sodium humate with liquid nitrogen fertilizer DAM 390 on resorption of macronutrients and cadmium was studied. It was found that sodium humate affected significantly the uptake of macronutrients. Barley grain withdrew more nitrogen by 38.9 %. Uptake of other nutrients was higher by 30 % on average compared with treatment of NPK. Significant increase of the yield indicates that sodium humate stimulates intake of nutrients and their utilization for yield formation. Sodium humate affected significantly the content of cadmium in grain and straw.
