Circadian behavioural and heart rate rhythm of dairy cows in free stall

This paper focuses on circadian behavioural patterns and heart rhythm of dairy cows in free stall technology. Behavioural patterns and heart rhythm of 3 cows were studied during 24 hour's period. It appears that in free stall technology circadian behavioural patterns of animals are quite individual, influenced by the rank in the group. Circadian heart rate rhythm of individual cows depends on their behaviour, but there are the other factors, influencing heart rate, as there are probable, authentic differences in heart rate at the time of the same activities
