Effect of plant number per hill on growth and yield of okra in undeated plastic house

An experiment was conducted during 1989 and 1990 growing season, to investigate the effect of plant population on growth and yield of okra cv. Khunisyria. Plant density was 1, 2 and 3 plants per hill. Results showed that plant height, leaf and branch number as well as early and total yield increased with the decrease in number of plant per hill. However, early and total yield per unit area increased with the increase in number of plants per hill
