An application of price expectation models on supply response of agricultural products

The adaptive expectation geometric distributed-lag model was used to test farmers' reaction to output and input expected prices as well as to other determinants of supply. This model was applied to analyse winter tomatoes farmers' response in Tunisia. Results indicate that farmers reaction to the price they expect depends on previous years prices
