The population of Aphytis wasp and that of the Aspidiotus scale insects fluctuated in the field at Timbilil estate, Kericho, throughout the year. Application of 2.5% concentration petroleum oil (Murphoil-Murphy chemicals) to tea for control of fried egg scale Aspidiotus sp.
