The internet information services based on the hyper-text system called WWW (World Wide Web) are growing very quickly, because the system development of such services is comparatively easy. The WWW systems are served by the combination of server softwares (eg.NCSA httpd) and markup-languages (eg.HTML). People can use those services by the browser software (eg.NCSA Mosaic) of the cliants on the Internet. At present, most of the WWW information is given in a page-unit style. In the case, we can access the information we need only page-to-page link. That is, the more information increases at site, the more it becomes difficult to find what we really need at the site. In this study, to solve such a problem, we developed a retrieval system on WWW. The retrieval system is based on the FORM tag function of HTML and the newly developed gcc program.
