[Functional disturbances of the gastro-hepatoduodental system investigation of pathogenic mechanism of "sudden death" in swine]

Aims of the given research were: (1) to find out whether duodenogastric reflux (DGR) appears in healthy pigs and what functional conditions it occurs; (2) to develop preparations for treating hepatosis; (3) to investigate the pathogenic mechanism of "Sudden death" (acute heart failure) in swine; (4) to determine the spread of pig's endoparasites in Latvia and their effective control; (5) to study the effective treatment and protective measures against the above mentioned diseases. The methods of investigation are explained, the obtained results are presented and discussed.
