[Studies of automobile fleet on peasant farms]

The importance of an adequate number and type of automobiles as well as their suitability to loads and roads are explained. In the transition period to the market economy little information about the auto-fleet on peasant farms is available. A special research has been carried out on automobiles owned by or available to individual peasant farms. The data of the research including the size of farms (in ha) and the number of automobiles are shown in a table. A formula is presented to determine the mean exploitation time for the whole auto-fleet. The structure of the fleet according to the time of automobile exploitation is shown graphically
