[Scientific analysis of the agrarian reform development in Latvia]

As the result of the informative research on land reform development: cadastre aim, tasks, terms and work sequence of real estate formation have been determined as well as the main principles have been worked out; land use and planning regulations in settlements and towns have been elaborated; conception has been developed on scientific and training farm territories; the results of the questioning concerning the land reform carried out by cadastre inspectors in 347 pagasts have been analysed. The conclusion has been drawn that for a rational use of land and the increase of competibility in agricultural production, rural land properties of rational size and location are necessary.
