Growth and yield performance of hybrid corn as affected by carbonized rice hull

This study was undertaken to evaluate the influence of carbonized rice hull (CRH) added to inorganic fertilizer on the growth and yield of hybrid corn. The application of 8 tons CRH/ha produced the heaviest weight of ears, taller plants, larger corn ears with bigger diameter, and produces more number of corn ears. Though the application of 8 tons CRH/ha incurred the highest cost of production, it was found out to have still the highest return per peso cost of P5.95
