The effects of exposure to sublethal concentrations of PG-14 on the reproductive potential of the surviving third instar larvae of Culex guinquefasciatus Say were investigated. The LC50 obtained for PG-14 was 0.14 ug/ml. However, a residual mortality was noted in larvae that had been exposed to LC50 of PG-14 for 24 hours and then placed in habitat without PG-14. Hence, the calculated LC25 which was 0.06 ug/ml was used. The average number of eggs per raft, percentage of hatching and development time were observed for three generations. There were significant reduction on the number of eggs laid per raft and percentage hatchability which was observed for every generation. However, significantly longer developmental time of the test insect was observed only in the F1 generation
