A qualitative study of nodulating ability of legumes of Azad Kashmir [Pakistan] (List-2)

A total of 35 species of legumes comprising 3 of Caesalpiniaceae, 4 of Mimosaceae and 28 of Papilionaceae were examined for nodulation. All the members of Mimosaceae and Papilionaceae were nodulated, where as none of Caesalpiniaceae was nodulated. Among the species examined, 7 were apparently not studied for nodulation previously.
