Technological regime and its application in potato production

Data from 432 plantations in 1992-94 were the basis to evaluating correctness of applied potato cultivation technology. Production complexity index calculated as a ratio of correct operation number to total operation number, was as low as 55.6% what proved farmers' technological failures. Correlation between production complexity index and production profitability was calculated as well. The correlation indicated the needs of extending advisory services to the farmers on potato production technology to meet all the requirements of technological regime and to reach sufficient profits
