Mixed white clover / grass swards located in Sudety: Lezyce near Duszniki (550 and 750 m a.s.l.) and Bystrzyca Klodzka (630 m a.s.l.), were investigated during the period 1982-90. The rate of white clover content in swards was evaluated. Mixed and grass swards yields influenced by 2 levels of PK i NPK application were analysed. Yearly yields of mixed swards without N application were from 5 to 11 t of dry matter/ha in the contrast to 1 to 4 t of dry matter/ha obtained on grass swards. N application had no significant influence on yields of mixed swards with high rate of white clover but persistence of clover in swards was lower
