1996
Gworek, B. | Brogowski, Z. | Jeske, K. (Warsaw Agricultural University (Poland). Dept. of Soil Science)
A pot experiment was undertaken in order to evaluate the usefulness of synthetic zeolites as materials decreasing heavy metals content in plants. The Pb decrease in the lettuce leaves were on average 40.8% and in roots about 60.0%. The Cu decrease in the lettuce leaves was on average in all combination compared to the control about 24.0%, but in roots 52.0 %. The Zn decrease in the lettuce leaves was on average 19-23% and in roots about 33%. The CD decrease in the lettuce leaves - 48-50% and in roots about 20-25 percent
