In 1994 there were carried out the experiments concerning the residues of basic pesticides in strawberry fruit, currant and apple tree, winter wheat grain and potato tubers. The research was conducted in two villages - one with the intensive system, and one with traditional agricultural production. In the winter wheat grain and potato tubers no residues of pesticides were found in spite of the analyses taking into consideration a vast spectrum of plant protection chemicals applied to those cultures. Consequently, it can be stated that the crops are not dangerous for the health of the potential consumer from the point of view of their content of pesticide residues
