A note on the effect of dodder on growth and yield of roselle [Sudan]
1993
Aballa, A.H. | Siddig, M.A.
Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is used for the production of soft drink and as a natural food colorant. Observations showed that it can be heavily infected with dodder (Cuscuta hyalina), an obligate parasitic flowering plant known for its devastating effect on alfalfa and faba bean. The objective of this study was to estimate its effect on growth and yield.
