This study examined the effect of sex of mule ducks, in addition to energy and protein content of fodder, on growth, carcass composition and slaughter age, with special regard to proportion of breast meat and subcutaneous fat. Treatment involved restricting feed, in one case using standard mule duck feed and in the other case using higher protein feed, against an ad libitum standard feed control.
