Effect of Thiabendazole administered simultaneously with Brucellosis vaccination on antibody level in calves

Effect of Thiabendazole administered simultaneously with Brucellosis vaccination in calves was studied. The first group, consisting of 15 calves, received vaccination only and the second group, consisting of the other 15 calves, received vaccination and thiabenda zole at the same time. Blood was collected from the animals at 15, 30 and 60 days after treatment. The serum agglutination titers against Brucella were determined and titers of both groups were compared. The results revealed no significant difference. Brucellosis vaccine and Thiabendazole can be administered at the same time without serious effect on antibody formation against Brucella.
